Territory Service Manager – South
Location: Remote / South of England
Contract: Full Time
Reporting to: National Service Manager
Key responsibilities and duties:
– Ongoing management and development of the aftersales function of the dealer network, focusing on dealer standards, efficiency and profitability
– Develop the dealer’s service action plan, benchmarked against dealer standards and examining future requirements
– Strong focus on dealer warranty practices, ensuring timely return of claims and correct submission of data to support the claim
– Provide technical feedback to National Service Manager
– Management and prompt resolution of customer dispute situations in conjunction with dealer personnel
– Understand the training requirements of the dealer service personnel and take action to ensure appropriate service levels are delivered to the end user market
– Communicate technical information and provide timely technical solutions where product performance falls below customer expectations
– Maintain the Company and brand image in all dealer and end user interaction
Requirements for the role:
– Excellent standard of technical knowledge encompassing hydraulic, electric, drivetrain and engine systems within Construction equipment
– Strong communication skills with excellent problem-solving capabilities
– Clear understanding of what is meant by dealer standards with the ability to implement and sustain them
– Excellent knowledge of construction machinery market
– A good standard of IT literacy, including MS Office, PC / Laptop and CRM system
– Previous experience of working with dealers and distributors would be beneficial
– The ability to work within a close-knit team
– Located within or prepared to relocate to the territory
– Full UK driving licence (essential)
